The U.S. Naval Institute and the U.S. Naval Academy will be hosting a conference in mid-October on the History and Future Challenges of Cyber Power at the U.S. Naval Academy campus in Annapolis, MD. The slate of speakers includes not just government personnel (all the way up to General James Cartwright, former Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff), but also well-known hacker-turned-consultant Kevin Mitnick, who will be demonstrating how easy it is for a talented hacker to break into supposedly secure systems.
