Using Regedt32, registry access is defined using one or more of following
permissions:

CS Create Subkey | allows assigned user or group to create a subkey located in this selected subkey. |
ES Enumerate Subkeys | allows assigned user or group to identify all the subkeys in the selected subkey. |
NT Notify | allows assigned user or group to receive audit notifications from this subkey. |
DE Delete | allows assigned user or group the right to delete the subkey. |
WD Write DAC | allows assigned user or group the right to read the discretionary access control list for the selected subkey. |
CL Create Link | allows assigned user or group to create a symbolic link to this subkey. |
WO Write Owner | allows assigned user or group the right to take ownership of the subkey. |
