Remove “Shortcut” Text From New Shortcuts

Windows adds the text “ – Shortcut” to the name of file and folder shortcuts you create. If you find yourself always removing this, then you might just want to perform a quick Registry change to stop Windows from doing it from now on. Remember, Windows also adds an arrow to the icons of shortcuts, so you’ll still be able to quickly distinguish between real files/folders and shortcuts.
