PROBLEM: You’re using Windows and you open a program from the Start menu. The window for the program opens, but for some strange reason the window is positioned so high on your desktop that the title bar portion of the window is beyond the top of your monitor screen. How can you drag the window back down so you can work with it properly?
RESOLUTION: If you’re using Windows 7, simply hold down the Windows key and press either the right or left Arrow keys to dock the window to one side of your screen, then resize the window in the normal way. Note that this doesn’t work with a few built-in applications like Calculator. For all other versions of Windows (and including Windows 7) you can right-click on the Taskbar and select Cascade Windows.
