Wireless adapters usually come with their own configuration utility, installed with the driver. However if you prefer to use Windows XP’s built-in wireless utility—known as Wireless Zero Configuration (WZC)—you can re-enable it:
Double-click your adapter’s icon in the system tray.
Click Properties.
Click the Wireless Networks tab.
Check or uncheck the Use Windows to configure my wireless network settings option.
