Have you purchased a new system only to find that your old applications run too
fast or die altogether? Mo’Slo can give
many old apps new life. Since 1990, Mo’Slo has been
a favorite utility for slowing fast PCs to run speed-sensitive programs. Mo’Slo Deluxe and Mo’Slo 4BIZ
features:
- Command-line operation for application-specific slowdown
Mo’Slois used to slow a specific
application or batch file. When you exit the slowed program you also exit
Mo’Slo, and previous system speed resumes. Mo’Slo can be
used in batch files and Windows shortcuts, and can be called from other
applications. Virtual speed is adjustable from 99.9% down to 0.1% of normal in
0.1% increments. Mo’Slo 4BIZ also supports an ’emulation
speed’ that is relatively constant on various platforms.
- Extensive hardware and software compatibility
Slow MS-DOS applications and batch files on Intel-compatible
CPUs from 80386 through Pentium 4 & Athlon, on DOS-compatible platforms
through Windows ME and 2000 as well as OS/2, Linux and MacOS DOS emulators.
Mo’Slo 4BIZ adds a second slowdown method that expands
compatibility to include many Windows applications under Windows 95/98/ME.
- Keyboard speed adjustment with on-screen display
Adjust slowdown on-the-fly in applications that do not take
complete control of keyboard input. Mo’Slo 4BIZ also
allows instant ON/OFF of slowdown.
- ‘Quick load’ and other options
Load applications at full system speed with keyboard initiation
of slowdown. Mo’Slo 4BIZ also allows timed delay and
initiation of slowdown.
- A tiny memory footprint
Occupies less than 1200 bytes while running executable files
(plus DOS overhead, which varies with system. Mo’Slo
4BIZ uses an additional 720 bytes when keyboard control is enabled.)
but there may be some applications that cannot be slowed effectively. This is a
commercial product with an evaluation version for download.
