Binary Tree coexistence and migration tools now support Exchange 2010

Binary Tree Announces Immediate Availability of Products for Coexistence and Migration between Lotus Domino and Microsoft Exchange Server 2010

NEWARK, NJ – January 14, 2010 – Binary Tree, the leading provider of cross-platform messaging migration and coexistence software, announced today the immediate availability of their coexistence and migration products for customers who need to establish direct interoperability and a direct migration path between Lotus Domino and Microsoft Exchange Server 2010.

CMT for Coexistence 3.0 establishes robust interoperability between Domino and Exchange Server 2010. This new release puts Binary Tree in the unique position of being the only ISV to deliver messaging, calendaring, and application coexistence as well as directory synchronization and calendar free/busy lookup functionality between Lotus Domino and Exchange Server 2010. CMT for Coexistence 3.0 preserves the workflow between Lotus Notes and Microsoft Outlook users by ensuring the high-fidelity interchange of directory information, email, calendar entries, calendar free/busy availability, and email-enabled applications.

CMT for Exchange 3.1 provides a direct and workflow-preserving migration path from Lotus Domino to Exchange Server 2010 and to Microsoft Exchange Online, which is part of the Microsoft Business Productivity Online Suite (BPOS). CMT for Exchange 3.1 supports migrations to on-premises and online versions of Microsoft Outlook and Exchange, including to Exchange Server 2010 and the Business Productivity Online Suite (BPOS) of Microsoft Online. CMT for Exchange 3.1 now also includes support for preserving the workflow of calendar events of migrated and non-migrated users in addition to offering unmatched data fidelity, migration management, and migration throughput.

“The Binary Tree utilities basically saved our migration project by delivering reliable software that got the job done. We would not have made our deadline or met our management’s objectives without CMT,” said Bob Ponsar, Directory of IT Operations, Goldleaf Financial Solutions. “Thank you for making such a great product!”

Binary Tree is a sponsor, and will be presenting, at the “Exchange Server 2010: Deploying Unified Communications” virtual trade show on February 25, 2010. Binary Tree’s CEO, Steven Pivnik, and CTO, Vadim Gringolts, will be presenting “Migrating from Notes and Domino to Exchange 2010” at this free online event.
