Blackhat 2006 is done and over with now. Can’t say I was overwhelmed with it. There was some decidedly excellent talks, and others that were questionable. That though is only my opinion so your mileage may vary. It would be nice to see more talks that are of a practical nature at these conferences. Something that you can walk away from and implement at work the next day. The “cutting edge” stuff is often not that useful, and at times of interest to only a few. Bleh. Any of you guys attend? If so what were your thoughts? Am I out of whack or inline with your thoughts as well?
