A tool that has been around for a few years now but that not many people are aware of is Calendar Analytics.
Released by Microsoft’s Business Intelligence team, this tool lets users analyse their Exchange calendar using PowerPivot for Excel. It is a time management app/tool/add-in that pulls information from Exchange and visualizes that data in a very easy to use Excel dashboard.
This free add-in allows us to:
Automatically retrieve time spent in calendar;
Drive ad-hoc analysis of our meeting times by day, by hour, by categories and business priorities;
View information about past meetings and future scheduled events;
Customize views (using slicers, DAX formulas or reference tables).
