Checking Active Directory Replication Status by Source and Destination Domain Controllers

RepAdmin command line tool is a handy tool to check Active Directory replication issue. Although you can gather a replication summary from your Active Directory Forest by executing Repadmin /ReplSummary command, but in case you need to see return replication status by source and destination domain controllers, you can use below command:

  • repadmin /replsum /bysrc /bydest /errorsonly

 The above command will return the following values for each Source and Destination domain controllers:

  • Largest Replication Delta
  • Total Failures
  • Error Number with description
