Computers hacked by private detectives!

Sensitive information may have been stolen from senior civil servants’ computers in Northern Ireland. Hackers used Trojan emails to access sensitive information from computers and it is alleged that the hacktivists were paid by an international news agency. Investigations confirmed that the hacking practice involved a virus attached to an email sent to target users. When the email attachment is opened the contents of the victim’s computer hard drive are read and then sent to the hackers which in this case, are known to be private investigators working for the news agency.
