Create Custom Jump Lists in Windows 7

One of the many new features in Windows 7 is Jump Lists. These menus are shown, for instance, when right-clicking icons for pinned or opened applications on the Taskbar or when hovering over icons for pinned or recent applications on the Start Menu. These menus vary, listing shortcuts for popular tasks of the particular application and recently opened files.

Microsoft doesn’t provide a way to create or customize these Jump Lists. However, you can use third-party tools, such as the Jumplist-Launcher. You can edit the Jump Lists of existing programs and/or use the icon for Jumplist-Launcher as a universal Jump List location.
