Security is one of the biggest concerns of organizations that are considering migrating some or all of their applications and storage to a cloud service. Now a senior security advisor at Trend Micro says criminals are early adopters of cloud computing, using it to do dirty deeds like running botnetes and hosting phishing sites. What’s the attraction? Availability, scalability and power – the same things legitimate companies are looking for in a computing solution – along with more easily achieved anonymity to hide their identities. This presents a challenge because it makes it more difficult for companies to know what traffic presents a threat and should be blocked. Read more here:
