Critical update for Windows Server coming next week

If you’re still reeling from the gargantuan Patch Tuesday that left many IT pros feeling like the target of a not-so-funny April Fool joke, take heart. This month’s security updates from Microsoft will not put nearly as much of a testing and deployment burden on you. In fact, the May updates include only a small handful of fixes. However, one of them is a critical patch for Windows Server 2003, 2008 and 2008 R2, so it’s going to be very important to get it deployed. The other two updates address vulnerabilities in PowerPoint.
