Disable “Entire Network” link in Windows NT / Windows 2000 Network Neighborhood

Entire Network link for Network
Neighborhood
can be disabled. Perhaps for security reasons. Got some
paraiahs? This Windows NT / Windows 2000 registry hack removes all computers
outside of the workgroup or local domain from lists of network resources in
Windows Explorer and My Network Places. Need to setup workstations for web
browsing in public areas but want to disable Network Neighborhood access? Create
separate domain for this purpose and set:

Hive: HKEY_CURRENT_USER
Key:
Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Network
Name:
NoEntireNetwork
Type: REG_DWORD
Value: 1
