Exclaimer Launches New Version of its Award-Winning Managed Email Signature Software

FARNBOROUGH, United Kingdom:  November, 2014

Exclaimer Limited, the global leader in managed email signature software, today expanded its software line-up with the launch of Signature Manager Office 365 Edition, the latest version of its multi award-winning Signature Manager range.

Migrating to Microsoft Office 365® is becoming increasingly popular for organizations both large and small. However, one feature that Office 365® lacks is the ability to centrally manage corporate email signatures. IT administrators typically have to create specific PowerShell scripts or implement Transport Rules to create any email signatures for their Office 365® users. Exclaimer understands how time consuming this can be and so has used its expertise to create a dedicated solution.

“With the constant demands of modern business, IT departments are under increasing pressure to provide a wide range of services within limited periods,” says Andrew Millington, CEO at Exclaimer. “One of the most common requests we have received in the past is to provide email signature software that works specifically with Office 365®, hence the creation of Exclaimer Signature Manager Office 365 Edition.”

This latest release of Exclaimer Signature Manager lets any organization centrally manage email signatures for all staff members using Office 365®. There is no requirement for an Exchange™ server and the software takes all user details directly from an organization’s Office 365® Directory. Office 365® users can also have multiple email signatures, with the option of choosing which signature they wish to use depending on the nature of the email they are sending, and see what their signature looks like when they compose a new message.

As with other releases in the Signature Manager range, every email an employee sends can also be turned into a powerful marketing opportunity. Signature Manager Office 365 Edition lets IT administrators create dedicated signature banners to showcase upcoming events, special offers and various promotions. Once the activity is completed, the software will automatically update or remove any banner as needed. This turns the humble email signature into a low-cost, high-volume marketing channel that can provide an organization with increased levels of ROI.

“Exclaimer’s focus has always been about designing software that we, as IT users, would want,” declares Millington. “As a Microsoft Gold Application Development Partner, we want to provide customers with solutions that provide additional value and functionality to core Microsoft technologies. Office 365® is a key part of Microsoft’s current portfolio, so it has been important for us to develop a dedicated version of our email signature software for this platform. Exclaimer Signature Manager Office 365 Edition is the culmination of months of hard work by our software development team and I could not be more pleased with the results.”
