Tim Mangan has released another great tool called Launch Time Analyze. The purpose of this tool is to act as an automated command launcher, which will repeatedly run a test while measuring the amount of time it takes to complete the test. This tool helps gauge end user “perceived performance”, or the performance as seen by the end user.
The final analysis displays a Perceived Performance Graph, indicating the number of times results fall within certain delay buckets. The number of buckets and their size are calculated based upon the result data. This graph provides a visualization of delays experienced by the user during the test.
