VMware’s/Teradici’s PC-over-IP protocol is quite rich and, for the most part, adapts quite well to network conditions. However, there are times when the protocol will need a little tweaking. Chuck Hisrtius has created a tool to help you do just that without messing with a bunch of GPO settings. The tool is called fittingly “PCoIP Configuration Utility (beta)” and it runs in the desktop VM at startup/logon. The tool lets the end user choose from some pre-configured profiles that are either out-of-the-box or ones that the administrator creates. The tool will also allow you to view real-time PCoIP stats – cool!
