Veeam recently announced they are now releasing a free version of an endpoint backup solution. Rick Vanover recently discussed it on an episode of the In Tech We Trust podcast. Veeam has pretty much stuck to backing up your virtualization environment and is usually #1 in this area. With this new product, you'll be able to use it to backup end users laptops and desktops, while also given the ability to use UCS servers as a disk backup appliance.
This could be a direct hit to many other backup vendors out there, with Veeam gobbling up even more of the backup market share. Personally I've used Veeam for backup and it's always very usable and intuitive, so why not just download it and try it out for free?!
