“Bill Pray, the research director at Gartner research, recommends that corporations should deploy e-mail in a virtualized production environment by default because it enables lower cost, less management and greater flexibility and agility. Other benefits include a better disaster recovery and high availability solution using the hypervisor’s capability for moving the application across the hardware environment, or adding resources as you need it. Corporations also get a better testing environment and ability to deploy patches faster.”
