To streamline the user experience and improve IT manageability, Getronics became an early adopter of Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2006, the newest version of the firewall, virtual private network, and Web cache solution. By deploying ISA Server 2006, Getronics expects that customers and employees will have easier access to information sources and enterprise applications. At the same time, new load balancing and IT management capabilities will help make the operation of the company’s many portals more efficient, reliable, and cost-effective.
