Google recently announced that their employees will no longer be able to use the Windows operating system and called it a “security effort.”

For a technology company that is supposedly run by some very smart people, it’s an extraordinarily silly rationale, especially coming at a time when attacks against Linux and Mac machines are on the rise. Not that Microsoft’s competitors want to admit that (understandably). Apple recently very quietly included anti-malware protection in one of its updates, apparently not publicizing it because they don’t want anyone to know that it’s possible to get malware on a Mac:
