A while ago I told you about the future availability of IAG 2007 as a .vhd download. I wasn’t sure when that was going to happen, but said I’d tell you as soon as I found out. Well, I just found out! You can now download the IAG 2007 .vhd virtual machine. Here’s the information from the download Web site:
“Microsoft Whale Communications Intelligent Application Gateway (IAG) 2007 is a remote access gateway that boosts productivity by giving mobile and remote workers, partners and customers easy, flexible and secure access to virtually any application from a broad range of devices and locations. IAG SP2 delivers a range of new, important enhancements for customers, including: flexible/secure deployment and simple disaster recovery; interoperability for non-Windows environments with support for Firefox, Linux and Mac; new application support for Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Office Communications Server Web client; enhanced integration of Kerberos constrained delegation; logging on with user principal name (UPN).”
There are two files to download. One is the .vhd file and the other is a Word .doc file that you must read before deploying the .vhd. The .doc will tell you what you need to know to get your IAG virtual machine up and running. Or, if you like, you can wait a week and read the article on getting the VM running that we’ll post on this Web site 🙂
