IAG 2007 TechNet Library is Live

Something that always gave me the feeling that IAG was a red-headed stepchild was the lack proper documentation. Perhaps that’s the wrong way to put it. IAG did have proper documentation and the documentation was fairly comprehensive, but it didn’t fit the Microsoft model in terms of organization, and more importantly, in terms of “Webification”.

Webification is critical for all documentation, because most admins use search engines of one kind or another to find information they need to solve a specific problem. If the information is locked away in a Word doc or some other format (such as PDF), the search engines don’t seem to be as effective in finding that key info you need to solve the problem.

Well, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of you! The IAG docs team has a present for you and you’re going to like it. That present is a full on online presentation of IAG Help content and supplemental documentation. Now you don’t get the feeling that you’re dealing with a “one-off” product. The new IAG documentation now gives you the feeling that IAG is a full fledged Microsoft Forefront Security Product. Yay!
