Something interesting is happening at Quest software. Quest is currently publicly traded under Nasdaq symbol QSFT. However, Quest has decided to go back to being a private company and in a stock by back in conjunction with Insight Venture Partners. The rumor on the street is that Dell may acquire Quest once all this shakes out. This move could be interesting and Brian Madden has posted an article speculating some potential outcomes if this turns out to actually happen.
