ISA 2006 Update for Exchange 2007 Fails (miserably)

While I don’t have Exchange 2007 running yet on my network (I still can’t figure out how to create secure SSL sessions for a variety of protocols using the horked Exchange 2007 UI), I thought I’d update my ISA 2006 firewall with the optional Update for Publishing Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 for Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2006 (KB925403). Unfortunately, things didn’t pan out the way I expected and the installation failed twice. Now, I know that some out there might suggest that I kick the perms, but I don’t have that button 🙂  I’m not used to weird things happening on my ISA Firewall and never had problems installing updates in the past, so this is a bit disconcerting. Maybe the ISA Firewall team took this update from the Exchange Team, in which case I suppose I’ll have to enable Telnet on the ISA Firewall and enter some sort of secret command-line code to get it to work! 😉

Below is a picture of my RDP session of the ISA Firewall, as seen after trying to install the update. Any insight into this problem is highly appreciated and I hope to return the favor on Tuesday.
