How to get SETI@home to work behind ISA Server

Question #920

How can I get SETI@home to work behind ISA Server?

Answer

In the Proxy Server settings disable HTTP Proxy and Enable SOCKS Proxy. Then simply type in the name of your ISA Server in the field for the SOCKS Host. You don’t need to enter anything in SOCKS username and password. The port remains 1080.
