Keeping High Availability with Forefront TMG’s ISP Redundancy Feature

One of the most requested features for the ISA firewall for the last eight years has been support for multiple ISPs. These requests increased significantly in the last three years, as cheap, high speed connections to the Internet were available to more people all over the world. Well, we never saw support for multiple ISPs in the ISA firewall, but the good news is that the new TMG firewall does support multiple ISPs. OK, to be honest, the TMG firewall supports two ISPs. It doesn’t support more than two.

I’m putting together an article now to show you how to test the multiple ISP feature in a Hyper-V environment. But until I get that out, Roiy Zysman has put together a nice blog post that highlights some of the multi-ISP settings and configuration options.
