Lenovo is launching a new generation of its ThinkPad P Series. It includes five new mobile workstation products — the ThinkPad P73, ThinkPad P53, ThinkPad P1 Gen 2, and ThinkPad P53s and P43s. Here’s more information about each of these new products.
ThinkPad P53 is a powerful 15-inch mobile workstation. It includes the Nvidia Quadro RTX 5000 GPU with RT and Tensor cores, which offer advanced features like real-time ray tracing and AI acceleration. It also includes the fastest Intel Xeon and 9th Gen Core class CPUs, including up to eight cores. It also has up to 128GB of memory and 6TB of storage. All that power makes it perfect for users who need lots of advanced functionality, like engineers or designers. Additionally, it comes with an OLED Touch display and Dolby Vision HDR.
ThinkPad P1 Gen 2
This 15-inch workstation weighs just 3.74 pounds and is 17.2mm thin. It includes the latest Nvidia Quadro Turing T1000 and T2000 GPUs, eight-core Intel 9th Gen Xeon and Core CPUs, and an OLED Touch display with Dolby Vision HDR. Visually, the device comes with a carbon fiber finish and a sleek design.
This 17.3-inch workstation is a larger version of previous ThinkPad devices. It comes with the latest Intel Xeon and Core processors and powerful Nvidia Quadro RTX graphics. This device is perfect for those who want a ton of power and screen space.
ThinkPad P53s and P43s
On the other end of the spectrum, these two products provide a combination of performance and mobility. The ThinkPad P53s includes the latest Nvidia Quadro graphics and Intel Core processors. However, it’s all contained in a chassis that’s thin and light for easy mobility, making it perfect for professionals who are on the go. The ThinkPad P43s is the only 14-inch chassis in this line of products. Each of these options also comes at a lower price point than others in the ThinkPad line, so they may work for cost-conscious professionals, consumers, or even students.
