Major web sites affected by DNS redirect attack

According to reports, the web sites of several major companies – including UPS, Vodafone, Acer and more – were affected when a DNS redirect attack on the systems of a U.K. domain registrar occurred last Sunday. This rendered the sites inaccessible for a period of time and traffic for some sites was redirected to a page that was controlled by hackers. You can read more about the attack here:
