Managing Windows Servers with Chef

Managing Windows Servers with Chef

Believe it or not I still read books! I thought I’d create a little section in the VirtualizationAdmin.com blogs to talk about some of the recent and current books I’m reading. Some have been recommended by others, some I’ve read as a technical reviewer, and some just looked interesting. I was recently a technical reviewer for Managing Windows Servers with Chef by John Ewart. Ewart is a very detailed and thoughtful writer and I really enjoyed this short book he recently put out.

I would recommend having some knowledge of Chef before going through it as it’s not meant to be a 101. It’s a Chef book specifically for managing Windows servers, but you’ll probably get lost if you have no knowledge. If you’re a Chef fan, though, it’s definitely worth the read.
