McAfee predicts Adobe software will be number one target of attacks in 2010
Traditionally, hackers and attackers have gone after vulnerabilities in the Windows operating system and/or applications built into the OS, such as Internet Explorer. Increasingly, however, they are targeting third party programs, and McAfee's 2010 Threat Predictions Report predicts that Adobe's products - particularly Flash and Adobe Reader, which are installed on a huge number of computers - will become the number one target this year.
