You can run a pilot of Microsoft VDI on a single server. However, the parts of the Microsoft VDI “in a box” solution are a collection of loosely coupled components. So, “in a box” or “single server” does not necessarily equal easy. Brian Madden and Gabe Knuth sat down with Microsoft to discuss the Microsoft VDI solution and took some videos of the process.
