No more email advisories from Microsoft? Seriously?

For Pete’s sake. As an author who writes about Microsoft’s patches every month and needs to know as soon as they’re released to get my articles submitted, I’m not a happy camper about this. Apparently some unspecified government regulations have caused the legal department to nix the very convenient email notifications that I had been getting up until now.

In lieu of email notifications, you can subscribe to one or more of the RSS feeds described on the Security TechCenter website.”  Seriously? RSS is so 1999. <sigh>

Interestingly, I didn’t get the email advising that there will be no more email – but some folks did.
