Citrix recently announced plans to expand its SD-WAN offering for service providers by delivering SD-WAN as a Service at high-scale through its network and managed service providers. Here’s some more information about the program, its features, and how to sign up.
About the SD-WAN as a Service program
Previously, the Citrix Service Provider program allowed Citrix Partners to offer a managed SD-WAN solution to their customers using the NetScaler SD-WAN offering. Basically, this allowed them to provide SD-WAN functionality for real-time and interactive applications while also delivering solutions that were specifically tailored to their virtualized apps and desktops. With the expanded program, managed service providers and network service providers will also have the opportunity to offer Citrix SD-WAN as a Service to their customers and subscribers.
What’s included in the Citrix Managed Service Provider Offering program?
For managed service providers that want to take part in the SD-Wan as a Service offering, Citrix has outlined some of the most appealing aspects of the new expanded program. First of all, the program includes flexible licensing and fulfillment options, giving you the option to resell appliances in their original form or bundle them as part of a monthly service. It also includes a multitenant Service Orchestrator using the Citrix Cloud. This feature allows MSPs and NSPs to deliver SD-WAN services to even more customers using their own downstream partners.
On a more technical level, the offering also includes full REST API support to help partners and customers with configuration, management, deployment, and troubleshooting. There’s also customized service and support programs and enablement designed for service providers, all aimed at helping those providers create the solutions that best fit their business needs and then roll out the offerings as seamlessly as possible.
