SafeSlinger is an App for mobile devices that allows for secure text messaging between mobile devices. It establishes a secure channel offering secrecy and authenticity. Messages cannot be read by your cellular carrier, Internet-provider, employer, or anyone else. SafeSlinger is developed by the research center of Carnegie Mellon University – CYLab. Carnegie Mellon’s CyLab researches and develops new technologies and is a global leader in security related matters, including best practices, policies and awareness.
