Store BitLocker Recovery Passwords in a SQL Database

Did you know it’s possible to use a SQL server database for storing your BitLocker recovery passwords for better security? The trick is to use the Microsoft BitLocker Administration and Monitoring utility (MBAM). There are few caveats: the clients have to be running Windows 7 Enterprise/Ultimate or Windows 8, and the server needs to run Windows Server 2008 SP2 or above, with an instance of SQL Server 2008 R2 installed.
