Problem – You’ve deployed an extra Windows computer in your organization but it isn’t pulling new software updates from your WSUS server. What’s wrong?
Possible solution – You may have cloned the new computer from an existing master image without running Sysprep on your master image to reset the SIDs and other machine-specific identifiers. Not running Sysprep can cause the new Windows installation to fail to pull updates from WSUS. Make sure you ran Sysprep on your master image.
