Microsoft is now offering a beta of its new cloud backup service for Windows Server 8, for customers who want to test the Azure-based service. This gives you the ability to back up data over the Internet and recover it from the cloud storage location, so that you don’t have to worry about hardware costs and maintenance. The service also offers advanced features, including block level incremental backups, compression and encryption. The catch? It works only with Windows Server 8 – not with any previous versions of the OS (and with Windows 8 client, either).
