Zero Day privilege escalation vulnerability posted

Handler’s Diary over on the SANS Internet Storm Center site reports that a Zero Day exploit that allows escalation of privileges on Windows XP, Vista, 7 and Server 2008 was posted on a popular programming site and lets attackers bypass UAC. The Proof of Concept code creates a special registry key and works on some kernel versions while causing a Blue Screen of Death on others. To find out more, see the article at
