IE 8 0day vulnerability disclosed publicly without a patch

This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable installations of Microsoft Internet Explorer. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. This vulnerability was discovered by Peter Van Eeckhoutte during TippingPoint’s Zero Day Initiative (ZDI) which rewards security researchers for responsibly disclosing vulnerabilities.
