I’ll admit it… I’m a sucker for good looking dashboards and infographics – visual representations of data. Tonight, I ran across a slightly dated – it’s a year old – but still very relevant infographic describing then then-current cloud computing state of the union. This particular representation does indeed show cloud information, but also includes a lot of data about the then-current virtualization market. The metrics might ave changed a bit in the past year, but I’d say that they’re still pretty close. The graph includes information about the hypervisor of choice, virtualization management tools, virtualization market penetration and quite a lot more.
