A Little Bit on the SIP Filter

image There’s a lot of new stuff included in the TMG firewall. However, some of the new features are harder to find than others. The big features, like NIS, Web filtering and Web antimalware, are easy to find and are high profile features. Other cool features, such as multi-ISP support, might not be so high profile, but are still pretty nice.

But did you know that there’s a feature that users have been asking about for a number of years, and now it’s included with the TMG firewall?

That feature is the new SIP filter. The SIP filter will allow you to connect your SIP phones to your SIP PBXs. The problem, at least until now, is that there has been very little useful information on how to deploy the SIP filter.
