Welcome to my VirtualizationAdmin.com Blog!

Hello, readers of VirtualizationAdmin.com!  My name is Scott Lowe and I’m thrilled to introduce myself as VirtualizationAdmin.com's new lead author.  A huge fanatic of all things virtual, I bring more than sixteen years of experience in the Information Technology field to my writing.  Starting my career as a network and server administrator, I've worked at all levels of the IT organization and am currently in my fourth year as the Chief Information Officer of Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri where I take a hands on role leading a team of world class IT professionals.  I personally handle most aspects of our virtualization, storage and Exchange infrastructures, too.

I've been writing for more than ten years and have written or coauthored three technology books, including Microsoft Press' Exchange Server 2007 Administrator's Companion and O’Reilly’s Home Networking: The Missing Manual.

I stay current with all kind of technology topics, with storage and virtualization right at the top of that list.  I love to share what I learn and find and I am excited to have this outlet as a forum to share with you, the readers, and I sincerely hope that we can grow and learn together.
