A report from FireEye found that APT attackers are getting more sophisticated and organizations are failing to keep up. The attackers use tactics that help them avoid detection and hide the attack code within the operating system so that it’s difficult to find, in some cases using Windows Management Instrumentation that leave no traces in the registry.
