Chinese partner leaks Windows exploit

If you can’t trust your own partners, who can you trust? This week, Microsoft pointed the finger at one of their Chinese partners, Hangzhou DPTech Technologies, as the culprit who leaked a proof-of-concept exploit that was shared through the MAPP (Microsoft Active Protection Program) in March. Microsoft terminated the Chinese company’s involvement in MAPP and said they have strengthened their existing controls and took actions to better protect their information. Read more here:
