Cloud products sold to law enforcement must meet security standards

The FBI has declared that all cloud vendors must meet the security requirements specified for the Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) for products that they sell to law enforcement agencies, even though they acknowledged that large cloud vendors such as Google may have a tough time complying with the rules. LAPD cancelled their plans to adopt Google apps because that service wasn’t compliant. Read more here:
