According to the advance notification issued last Thursday, 4 of the updates are critical and the other 4 are rated important, and Office, IE, and SharePoint are affected along with various versions of the Windows operating system and a couple of Microsoft technologies.
In both August and September, the company found itself in an embarrassing post-Patch Tuesday position when some of the updates caused problems and had to be recalled. Will it happen three times in a row? Are you reluctant to install this month’s patches immediately, just in case it does?
