Malware distributors know that putting their evil wares on their own sites will just get those sites blacklisted, so they’ve turned to a more insidious technique: the “watering hole” tactic that takes advantage of those virtually abandoned web pages companies leave online long after they’ve stopped serving any useful purpose.
