In all areas of life and business, the best usually costs more. Companies are finding that this is true of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework that is deemed to be an industry best practice. There is little argument regarding the value of the framework, but according to a new survey aimed at finding patterns in adoption of the framework, many IT pros consider the high cost of implementing it to be a hamper to adoption.
